Sources and published prices checked on 10 October 2026.
A Profhilo price can refer to one visit or to a full course. In three checked clinic examples, a single treatment costs SEK 2,300–4,000 and a course of two treatments SEK 4,500–7,000. These are examples from named clinics, not an average or a complete price range for Sweden. [1–3]
To compare correctly, you need to know which product, amount and area the price covers, and how many visits it includes. Also check whether consultation and follow-up are included. A low price per visit can turn into a higher total cost if more visits or areas are added.
On Skönhetskollen you can compare clinics that offer Profhilo. This guide helps you read a price list and work out the cost of the whole treatment plan.
What does one treatment and a course of Profhilo cost?
The table shows the clinics' own published prices, read on 10 October 2026. The figures apply to Profhilo and are kept separate from Profhilo Structura. The examples were chosen to show the difference between single visits and packages, not to rank clinics.
| Clinic | City | One treatment | Course of two treatments | What the source states |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dibélle | City: Helsingborg | One treatment: SEK 2,300 | Course of two treatments: SEK 4,500 | What the source states: Single Profhilo for the face or neck; separate package with two treatments. [1] |
| Citylaser | City: Gothenburg | One treatment: SEK 3,800 | Course of two treatments: SEK 7,000 | What the source states: 2 ml for one treatment; course of two treatments. [2] |
| Estetiska Institutet | City: Stockholm | One treatment: SEK 4,000 | Course of two treatments: SEK 6,400 | What the source states: Separate price lines for Profhilo and a course of two treatments. [3] |
The differences do not show that the same treatment is cheaper in a particular city. Product amount, area and what the packages include need to be confirmed with each clinic. Prices may have changed since they were checked; ask for a current total price before you decide.
What does a "from" price mean?
A "from" price is the starting price for a particular offer. It does not automatically tell you what your treatment plan will cost. It may, for example, refer to one visit, one area or a set amount of product.
Ask the clinic to explain what the "from" price covers and what makes the price higher. A clear quote should state the product, area, amount per visit, number of visits and any extras.
How many treatments are in a Profhilo course?
The manufacturer's information for Profhilo 64 mg describes an initial standard course of two treatment sessions about 30 days apart, followed by maintenance as needed. Your individual plan should be assessed by the practitioner. [4]
The word "course" is therefore not enough for a price comparison. Ask how many visits the package you are looking at includes. If a clinic suggests a different number, ask why and ask for the total price of that plan.
A package of two visits should be compared with two equivalent visits at another clinic. Also compare the same area and amount of product. Do not assume that the face and neck are both included just because both are mentioned on the clinic's treatment page.
How to work out the real total cost
Total cost = price of the course or all visits + consultation + any other agreed extras. If you want to plan further ahead, you can add the cost of any further treatment separately.
Worked example: two separate visits or a package
Citylaser publishes SEK 3,800 for one treatment and SEK 7,000 for a two-treatment course. Two separate visits at the stated single price come to SEK 7,600. The difference from the package price is SEK 600, provided you are comparing the same treatment and scope. [2]
Estetiska Institutet lists SEK 4,000 for one treatment and SEK 6,400 for two. Two visits at the single price come to SEK 8,000, which is SEK 1,600 more than the published package price. Here too, what the package includes needs to be confirmed. [3]
These calculations apply to these price lists. They do not show that every clinic offers the same package saving, or that a package is always the right choice for you.
Example budget for further treatment
Suppose your course costs SEK 7,000 and you later, after a new assessment, choose one maintenance visit for SEK 3,800. Your total spend is then SEK 10,800, before any other fees.
This is a budget example. It is not a recommendation that you need three visits in a year. The need, timing and price of further treatment should be assessed separately.
What should the price include?
Get answers to the following before you pay:
| Question | Why you need the answer |
|---|---|
| Which Profhilo product is used? | Profhilo, Profhilo Body and Profhilo Structura should not be mixed up in the comparison. |
| Which area is treated? | The face, the neck or several areas can mean a different scope. |
| How much product is included per visit? | A price without a stated amount is harder to compare. |
| How many treatments are included? | One session and a course are different purchases. |
| Is there a charge for the consultation? | The cost of the consultation affects the total budget. |
| Is follow-up included? | Ask about its scope and any conditions. |
| Can other costs be added? | Ask for any extras in writing. |
| What terms apply to the package? | Check how long it is valid, the cancellation terms and what happens to unused visits. |
You can use this wording when you contact a clinic:
I would like to compare the total price of Profhilo for [area]. Which product and amount are included per visit, how many visits do you recommend, and what does the whole plan cost, including consultation and follow-up?
Why can prices differ?
Price differences can come from offers that include different things: product, amount, number of areas and visits, or included follow-up. Clinics also set their own prices.
You cannot judge the practitioner's competence or your expected result from the price alone. Start by checking that the offers cover the same thing. Then compare the practitioner's qualifications, the individual assessment and the follow-up routines.
Profhilo and Profhilo Structura have different treatment goals
The manufacturer's product overview describes Profhilo 64 mg as a hyaluronic acid-based product for skin quality and firmness. Structura targets fatty tissue in the face and has a different treatment plan. Body is a separate product for the body. Prices for these products should therefore be listed separately. [4]
If the price list only says "Profhilo", ask which variant is meant. A lower price for a different product is not a comparison of the same treatment.
Is cheap Profhilo a good choice?
A lower price can be worth considering when the offer is clear and matches your treatment plan. At the same time, check who will treat you, which product is used and how the clinic handles follow-up and complications.
According to IVO, aesthetic injection treatments must be carried out by a licensed doctor, dentist or nurse. The business must have patient insurance and be registered in IVO's register of care providers. Registration with IVO is not in itself a quality approval. [5]
You should also be told about costs, the expected course of treatment, risks, aftercare and a contact person in case of complications. Before an aesthetic injection treatment there is a cooling-off period of at least two days after you have received the information about the treatment. If the same type of injection treatment is repeated within six months, no new cooling-off period is required. Aesthetic treatments are also subject to an 18-year age limit. [5]
What can Profhilo do – and what are the risks?
Profhilo is an injection treatment with hyaluronic acid used to improve the firmness and quality of the skin. The manufacturer's information describes, among other things, the face and neck as treatment areas. [4] The result, and whether the treatment suits your goals, needs to be assessed individually; the price is no guarantee of a particular effect.
The manufacturer's safety information mentions, among other things, pain, redness, swelling, itching and bruising at the injection site. It also states that the product must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, in people with autoimmune diseases or in areas with inflammation. [6]
Tell the clinic about any illnesses, allergies, medicines and previous treatments at the consultation. Follow the clinic's individual advice and do not change prescribed medication on your own initiative. Ask for written aftercare information and a way to get in touch if you have problems.
