How we handle reviews
We do not republish the historically imported review texts. A limited historical set of data may be used to summarise recurring themes. Alongside the summary, we show the source and important limitations of the data.
Historical reviews are not shown as text
The reviews were imported on an earlier occasion from external sources. We do not show their texts, their ratings or any average rating from them.
Summary of recurring themes
Where there is enough data, we summarise what the reviews repeatedly bring up, divided into positive and critical themes. A theme is only included once it is mentioned in at least three different reviews, and a summary is only shown when the clinic has at least five usable reviews. Otherwise, we state that the data is too limited.
Source and selection
We state the source, for example Bokadirekt, when it is known. The source has been determined based on when the reviews were imported. The data consists of a limited historical selection – at most five reviews per clinic – and the summary only describes recurring themes in the data that has been analysed.
Not verified customers
We have not checked who wrote the historical reviews or whether they have visited the clinic. We therefore never present them as reviews from verified customers.
The summary is not our opinion
The text is generated automatically using fixed templates and describes what is mentioned in the reviews – it is not Skönhetskollen's assessment of the clinic. The absence of a recurring critical theme does not mean that there are no critical reviews. Reviews that were attached to several different clinics during the import are not counted.
Cannot be bought
Clinics cannot pay to influence the summary or to have reviews removed.
