Compare beauty clinics and treatments
Skönhetskollen brings together 600 clinics across Sweden. We help you compare clinics and treatments, understand the differences, ask questions and move on to a booking request where that option is available.
What we do
We collect and structure information about beauty clinics – prices with sources, practitioners and the details we have checked – to make comparison easier. Where there is enough material, we also summarise recurring themes in reviews. On the clinic's page you can ask questions, and with clinics that accept booking requests via Skönhetskollen you can send a request directly there. The form states who handles the request.
We do not perform any treatments and do not give medical advice. The treatment and the medical responsibility always lie with the clinic.
How Skönhetskollen is funded
The site may be funded through clinic accounts and advertising. Paid placements may occur and are always clearly labelled as Sponsored. Payment does not affect which details we have checked, how reviews are summarised or the default sorting.
How we work
- Prices with sources
Each price shows where it comes from: Price from the clinic's published price list (with the date we checked it), Confirmed by the clinic or Not checked. Always ask the clinic to confirm the price before treatment. Where the information comes from.
- Medically responsible person listed
We list the name of the medically responsible physician or registered nurse where applicable — so you know who is ultimately responsible for the treatment.
- IVO + liability insurance
For some clinics, Skönhetskollen also checks details such as IVO registration and liability insurance. When such a check has been carried out, we clearly show on the clinic's profile what has been checked.
- Summarised reviews
We do not republish historically imported review texts. Where there is enough material, we summarise recurring themes and show the source. We do not label any reviews as verified. How we handle reviews.
If a detail has not been checked by Skönhetskollen, we say so. This does not mean that the detail is missing or incorrect, only that we have not yet checked it.
Who is behind Skönhetskollen
Skönhetskollen is a Swedish initiative. The content on the site is produced by the editorial team and fact-checked against official sources (IVO, Socialstyrelsen, the clinic's own price list).
